Examination Schedule of Semester II (2016-2019) , Semester IV (2015-2018) & Semester VI (2014-2017) || Four days National Workshop on Learning Statistical Techniques with SPSS is going to be held from 19-10-2016 to 22-10-2016. Click here to Download Registration Form. || The Final Major Project Viva-Voce of MCA Semester VI (Batch: 2013-16) is going to be held on the 25th May, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. The students are required to bring the Hard Copy of the Project Report and the CD. || Notice regarding submission of quotation for generator in the department. || Notice regarding submission of two quotation for new server in the department. || Notice regarding tender of boring in the department. || This is to inform the student of MCA Semester II, IV and VI that they are required to take re-admission for the session 2015-16. The date for taking re-admission are 01-02-2016 to 03-02-2016, 04-02-2016 to 06-02-2016 and 07-02-2016 to 09-02-2016 respectively. || Nine students of MCA ( Batch 2013-2016) got placement in SAM Softech Consultancy Pvt. Welcome to the Patna University

Patna University , is the first university in Bihar, was established in 1917 during the British Rule, and is the seventh oldest university of the Indian subcontinent. At that time, the jurisdiction of the university extended to Bihar, Orissa, and the Kingdom of Nepal. The university oversaw examinations for educational institutions ranging from school finals to the postgraduate levels. This continued almost for four decades, until the establishment of the Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, and the Utkal University, Bhubaneshwar.


Special efforts are required for achieving high academic excellence. Qualitative change in Higher Education is possible only through radical means including incorporating Information Technology / e-Governance, adopting a policy of social inclusion and making quantitative as well as qualitative changes in teaching, research & development activities. We would need synergistic efforts and cooperation from all quarters for achieving this distinction, so that we may provide quality education to all our students.
